TIL the reverse function exits

BARC has wonderful NETs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm Omaha time. Jim KX0U talked us through using a radio's reverse function to listen to the input side of a repeater's frequency pair. On my QB25 radio this is the * on the hand microphone. One use of the reverse function is to listen and see if another person is close enough to you for simplex to work.
